Krillion Multiplayer: Puffer Party, Free With Friends

Six seats, one puffer, and a table where the rare answer keeps you alive.

Puffer Party is the live game where Krillion stops being a solo dive. Six players sit at one table, the prompts come round in turns, and every answer is scored by rarity. A rare answer earns a heart. A famous one feeds you to the puffer. It is free, needs no sign-up, and the house tables run all day.

What is Puffer Party?

Puffer Party is the krillion multiplayer game of Krillion Unlimited: a live party game played in turns, at a table of up to six. One prompt at a time, one answer each, and a pufferfish keeping track of who plays it safe. Collect five hearts and you bank 600 points. Get fed to the puffer twice and your game ends at the rail, watching the rest of the table play for the win.

The solo dive teaches you where the deep answers hide; the party makes you find them while five players wait on your clock. An answer you would never risk alone becomes the only one worth giving.

How to play Krillion with friends

  1. The lobby is at the top of this page. It shows the tables that are running.
  2. Pick your table. A house table for a game right now, or start your own table for your group.
  3. Share the code. Your table carries a 5-letter code and an invite link. Friends open this page, enter the code, and take a seat.
  4. Play your turns. Joining means you are ready. If a game is already running, you watch it and take a seat in the next one.

It is a trivia game with friends in the literal sense: your people, your table, your code. As a multiplayer trivia game it is quick to join, under a minute from pressing the button to sitting at a table, and nobody needs an account to play. An account only carries your name and progress across devices.

The rules of the table

Puffer Party rules for Krillion multiplayer: hearts, pops and winning

One round at the table

Talk is cheap. Here is one round played out in full. The prompt is a real one from the bank: name a species of large felid, a big cat. Six seats, six clocks, and every answer below sits in the bank with the tier named beside it. Watch what each tier does to the seat that played it.

  1. Seat one: Lion. Plankton tier. The answer the whole table typed in their heads before the clock even started. The puffer gets fed, and seat one now has a feeding against their name. One more feeding and they are out.
  2. Seat two: Cheetah. Too Clever tier. It feels like a dodge, and it is. The trouble is that half the table had the same dodge loaded. No heart, no feeding. Seat two floats on, a turn poorer.
  3. Seat three: Cougar. Schooler tier. Correct, calm, and right in the middle of the bank. It keeps the seat alive and earns nothing. Some turns that is enough.
  4. Seat four: Ocelot. Rare tier. First heart of the round. Seat four is now one step into the five hearts that bank 600 points.
  5. Seat five: Caracal. Deep Cut tier. A heart, and a quiet look around the table. Nobody else had it. That is what a Deep Cut sounds like when it lands.
  6. Seat six: Clouded leopard. Deepest tier. The rarest kind of answer the bank holds for this prompt, worth a heart and a bit of silence. The round ends with the deepest seat holding the best card.

Count the round. Three hearts went out, one player got fed to the puffer, and two seats spent their turn just staying alive. Seat one is a single mistake from the rail. Seats four, five and six are playing a different game now, because every heart they add brings the 600-point bank closer. Same prompt, same clock. The tiers did all of it.

Challenge a friend: the same prompts, later

Not every game of krillion multiplayer needs everyone online at once. Finish a dive and send it as a challenge: your friend opens the link, plays the same prompts under the same clock, and the result card shows both dives side by side. It is the quieter contest, the one that runs all day in a group chat, and it settles the arguments the live table starts.

Playing well at a table

Reading the table

Solo play is you against the bank. A table gives you something extra: information, dealt face up, one seat at a time. The players who go before you are telling you how this prompt thinks. Listen before your clock starts, because once it starts you have no spare seconds to work any of it out.

The early seats draw you a map of the trap. If the first two answers on the big cat prompt come back Lion and Tiger, you have learned something worth money: this table thinks famous first, and the famous ground is exactly where the puffer waits. Their common answers are not wasted turns. They are the warning, posted in plain sight.

None of this needs speed. It needs one habit: eyes up while the other seats play. The table shows you its hand a little at a time, and the players still floating at the end are usually the ones who were watching.

The house tables

Two public tables never close. Each is hosted by a resident puffer bot: regulars who play at human speed and human skill, hold the game together at quiet hours, and give up their seats the moment real players arrive. The counters on this site stay honest. Resident puffers are company at the table, never numbers dressed up as players.

Puffer Party and the rest of the game

The party shares its question bank and its six rarity tiers with everything else here. The solo game, Krillion Unlimited, is where the deep answers are learned. The three packs keep one subject for a whole chapter journey: Krillion Geography runs capitals, rivers and islands, Krillion Movies runs directors and cult classics, and Krillion Sports runs teams, champions and records. The official Krillion at krillion.io runs a party mode of its own; this is a separate game with its own bank.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Krillion have multiplayer?

Yes. Krillion online multiplayer lives here as Puffer Party, the Krillion game multiplayer room for up to six players, and the friend challenge covers games played at different hours. Both are free.

How does Puffer Party work?

Players take turns answering prompts at one table. Rare answers earn hearts, five hearts bank 600 points, and common answers feed you to the puffer. Two feedings put you out, and the last player floating takes the table.

How do I play Krillion with friends?

Start your own table from this page and share its 5-letter code or invite link. Friends enter the code here and take a seat. For friends in another timezone, send a challenge link instead and compare result cards later.

Is Puffer Party free?

Yes. House tables, your own table, codes and challenges all cost nothing, and there is no daily limit. A free account is optional and only saves your progress across devices.

Where do I enter a room code?

On this page. The party lobby sits at the top of this page: choose join by code in the lobby, and type the 5 letters. Check the code with whoever sent it: a code only works on the site that made the table.

What happens if I join a game that already started?

You watch that game from the rail as a spectator, then take a seat in the next one. Tables run back to back, so the wait is short.
